There are so many lists for tourists .. most romantic, most remote, unique, family oriented, gay, archeological sites, nature, sustainable, etc… and the latest list – major sites on this planet that will disappear – “die” sooner than later including Venice, Italy, The Great Wall in China and sadly one that is close to home – The Dead Sea ! For various reasons, including mineral mining, sinkholes etc. We are told the Dead Sea could disappear entirely in about 50 years!!! |
