VISIT SOME OF THE BEST ART GALLERIES IN TEL AVIV & ENVIRONS

We have not visited all the museums but have heard good things about them… We do not have to help promote the well-known,  major museums of Israel such as Jerusalem’s  Israel Museum or the Bible Lands Museum , and Tel Aviv’s The Museum of the People aka Diaspora Museum, or Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Eretz Israel Museum aka in Hebrew as Haaretz Museum, but would like to bring to your attention some wonderful museums less known! Magasin III Jaffa (Brief Intro) – Magasin III is situated in Stockholm and has exhibitions of internationally known artists) …  the museum/gallery is one of Europe’s leading institutions for contemporary art – closed now until May 2020 for renovations and revamp.  One year ago, they opened a permanent satellite space on 34 Olei Zion St. in Jaffa, featuring local and international artists. https://www.magasin3.com/en/jaffa/

Sommer Contemporary Art promotes  Israeli artists. The gallery is situated on:

The Nahum Gutman Museum of Art is situated in a historical building, built in 1887 …  The artist’s family donated the collection. Yaacov Agam Art Museum, Rishon Le Zion (south of Tel Aviv)  Quote from the official website: The Museum showcases Agam’s ground-breaking artistic research, presenting  temporary exhibitions and permanent displays of some of his most important artworks, coming from prestigious collections and museums worldwide.” Address:  1 Mayshar Street. Design Museum Holon, a remarkable, iconic building by Israeli architect Ron Arad, which is the first museum in Israel solely dedicated to Design… it is considered one of the leading museums of design and contemporary culture in the world..
